The Pagan Podcasting community is ... just. Wow.  Awesome bunch of people.  I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I'm loving the feedback I'm getting from the Pagan Podcast Tribe, and I love how friendly and helpful everyone is!

    Astonishing!  Deeeeelightful!  Hurrah!

    The Dark Side of Fey

    Sunday, February 10, 2008, 12:59 PM [General]

Hi all! I spent 12 hours yesterday figuring out the ins and outs of podcasting, and finally uploaded my very first episode. The show is hosted at libysn.com but we have an official website, where discussion will take place on the topics covered in the podcast. I hope you visit.

    SHOW NOTES:

The Very First Episode will include an introduction to the show, and your hostess, Darklyfey. We’ll also be talking a little bit about modern pagan practice and the accumulation of stuff. Some things to think about as you listen: Is the ‘stuff’ we acquire and feel we need to practice our pagan path really necessary? Is the accumulation of yet more ‘stuff’ in our lives a contradiction to those things we might profess as pagans? There's a challenge to stop shopping for a period of three months. You game? Check out the blog!

In tarot segment, we’ll pull a card and talk about what it means. In our book segment, we’ll talk a little bit about The Way of the Green Witch, which fits in nicely with our main topic.

We’ll enjoy music by Dust Rhinos, a band out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and a pretty song by Tigertail called Celtic Mystic

Shout outs go to Deo's Shadow, the show that first inspired me to do this in the first place, and The Wigglian Way, who have me saying, to no one in particular, and on a regular basis - Thanks for walking....The Wigglian Way!

I'm also indebted to music.podshow.com for the service they provide to little ol' podcasters like me.

    Howdy!

    Thursday, February 7, 2008, 09:41 AM [General]

I had one of these way back when, but it got lost in space, so I hooked myself up with a new one.  I'm happy to be here.

I'm almost 40, and have been pagan since my late teens.  I've also studied world religion as part of my spiritual path.  I love to discover the common threads among all the religions of the world.

I'm active with a coven in Toronto, Ontario.  I'm a student of Blue Star Wicca, but I don't talk about that on line.  I will talk about eclectic wicca, and the kind of paganism I practice or have practiced outside of Blue Star.

If you want more information about Blue Star Wicca, you can visit my grove's homepage.

As for me, I live in a tiny house with three teenaged boys, two cats, a dog, and my spouse.  On weekends, we add a teenybopper into the fray (my step-daugther, who is the only relief I get from testosterone overdose!).  I work full-time, knit, read, and love to cook.

I'm interested in herbalism, tarot, numerology, gardening, knitting, and all sorts of other things - too many things, really! There aren't enough hours in the day. :)
